Has anybody found any alternative to replacing the rubber bellows above the Front Ohlins Forks. Dealer told me the only way to replace them is to replace the whole entire system. They suggested that I remove them and use electrical tape to wrap the wires. I just can't get myself to do that.

Thank you

Wow! I tried searching for boot, rubber, bellows, etc. I kept finding companies that would custom make it. I will order two of those and give it a try. Thanks

They do look like they are the correct size and everything, go figure!
let us know how it turns out.

Mission accomplished, my cracked boot is fixed with this part. I only replaced my left fork boot, and it is virtually indistinguishable from the OEM part:

Be forewarned: you will need lots of grease (dielectric is best) and patience to fit the connector into the boot.

do a search for "rubber wire boot" and you will find many options, here is one I found in literally 10 seconds.

hope you can find one that will work for ya.

Has anyone done this job recently? Any tips or method on how to replace these boots or has anyone come up with an alternative? I almost would have preferred if Ducati had made a rigid rubber cover, something like this 90 degree rubber elbow.
