Hi everyone. I have a base Pani with the Marzocchi Forks. I want to safety wire the front axle pinch bolts but the bolt heads are recessed into and flush with the fork bottom. Are there M6x25mm bolts that have a 10mm tall head so they will stick out and I can drill and safety wire them?
Any racers out there with the base model?
Thanks
Domenic

gooooood question!!!

i think the easiest way is to get a 5 mm longer screw and some 5 mm washers to get the heads outta there???

Some race orgs will allow a dab of silicone sealant on bolts that are tough to wire. May be a viable alternative in this case too.

I did exactly what Phil said. I do not remember the length of the new allen head bolts but I added for the length of the new allen head itself plus the new larger washer thickness to determine.

Thanks so much for all the replies. I think I am going to get 5 mm longer bolts and 5mm thickness worth of M6 washers. Sweet.
