Setting Sag

I'm running 31mm Total Sag per Ohlins suggestion of ~30mm (R1-R3)

I see that some are only accounting for the difference between Static and Rider and arriving at 30mm (R2-R3) resulting in a much greater Total Sag measurement

I'm mainly trying to understand how most people are measuring their Sag.

My suspension is setup great for the canyons and is quite stiff on regular roads. Moss set it up. Can't cover all riding conditions with one configuration of course.

Ohlins Definitions:

R1 Bike with the suspension fully extended and rear tire slightly off the ground

R2 Bike on the ground without rider

R3 Bike on the ground with rider

I run total sag of about 27 but I'm going to soften it more as it's still too stiff for the bumpy roads around here. Stock was 22! I bought the motool so I can set the SAG myself. Calculating total sag is super easy now. I wish the eSuspension changes preload as well, with that and the MoTool you could easily change from street to track settings.

Right now I need to make the rear softer and want to flip the settings from flat to progressive. I'm mostly street anyway so the softer setting won't be a big deal.
