It depends what you want to do with your sat nav
If it is going from point A to point B, I would install a support for my smartphone. Plenty of apps to choose from, bluetooth, no extra gadget needed
If you want to ride routes and make your own routes as well, I would go with a Garmin. I have a 550 and a 660, which are perfect for me.
