I am just gonna leave this right here.

Stock engine, Akra exhaust, Tuneboy with lots of tuning, Sprint filter, and MR12.

I think he's saying it because that's an 1199 chart.

What ya going to do with 200hp and 100 torques anyways?

Going to Ohio Mile to see what that kind of power on this small bike will get me. Someone has to try and represent Ducati. Oh and its geared for 208mph. Just gotta see if it will get near that.

Their Moto GP bike only does 211 with 240hp.

Just breaking 201 with a normal sized human on the bike would be huge.

I believe in World Superbike they have gotten close if not gone faster then 200mph. But they have to deal with the bike having to handle which can cause areas of wind drag. I am only going straight so I will not have to worry about such issues.

no disrespect, but after 3+ years of endless discussions on rw vs reported hps, dyno charts, comparos etc in this forum, you are going to encounter many skeptics here, particularly when your numbers are higher at the wheel than at the crank...just saying

dude, we might want to see if we can squeeze a bit more out of my 1299; I'm feeling jealous! With the weather cooling, let's see if we can't break the 200whp barrier on my bike :)

don't overlook the fact that that is tuned for MR12 fuel. That does make a difference, especially if you're going to compare that dyno chart to yours that was tuned on pump 10% ethanol.

I just don't see a stock(no motor work) 1199 or 1299 making over 200hp at the wheel. Even with a conservative 15% parasitic loss through the drivetrain etc, you're looking at roughly 175-180 at the wheel. No one is going to make up 20hp without engine work, period.

Some of the ........ numbers that come off these dyno's are ridiculous. They should be for comparative(before & after) baselines for tuning and or major changes(exhaust etc)only.

Ah, but the Panigale knows when it's being tested - there's some VW software in there that only puts out 205 HP when it's on a test bed/dyno. In the real world, they're restricted to 138 HP! And, they're only red when you're looking at them.

The EU version of the 1299 delivered the following values:

Swiss Motorcycle Magazine "Töff": 187.1 HP at the wheel (S1000RR 190.5).
German Magazine "Motorrad": 201 HP at the crank.

Not bad for a stock bike and not really far away from 205HP.

With Termi slip ons and Ducati tune the bike made 175hp. With tuneboy installed and each cylinder mapped the bike 183hp. It went to 188 with Akrapovic exhaust and 191 with sprint filter. For comparison a new ZX10 with a slip on and ecu custom mapped makes 186-188hp on MY dyno. A tuned S1000RR makes between 184-188 depending on exhaust. Also a new R1M with AR exhaust and Graves flash spit out 184hp. So for comparison sakes this dyno is NOT spitting out high numbers. I just know what I am doing ;)

The true test will be this weekend if this bike breaks 200mph in a mile

Your in my territory now, gear it down if you want to go faster, not up.

Worst mistake you can make is to run higher gearing going for top speed.

Your weight, and how aero dynamic you and your gear is will help your overcome HP and T

What do you mean by gearing down. Stock the bike is geared for only 192-194 area
