Racers worldwide, this one is for you.

I finally have completed my first race season in a honda hornet cup series. I competed enough times that I may, with the right approvals, compete in an open bike series in Qatar. This is all great, right? well I want to use my Panigale, which I have painfully been converting to a full race ready machine.

I got to reading the open rules for Qatar, and they use FIM rules for weight mins, and scrutinizing of the bike prior to the race. This is when the bomb drops.

I need to to be able to show them, presumably for every race, the Oil drain plug lock wired and safetied. ....!! That means I have to take the whole bike apart,(because on the Panigale, you can't just remove the belly Pan) every race just to show that plug? I would need a whole pit crew for this feet.

My question(s) is/are Did I read this right? Is there a way to scrutinize the bike without doing this? WTF, how are people racing this bike if this is the case?

Please help I really want to do this, what are the rules where you guys are so I can make a case to them.

Thanks.

This show I got mine it seems to satisfy all scrutineers I have come across. It is still visable with fairings on and I always keep a photo on my phone if they are not satisfied.

If you use the Kraiitech drain plug, and a Sharkskinz belly pan, you cut a hole in the bottm of the belly pan (Kraiitech supplies a plug for this), then reinstall the plug after tech. I'll take a pick in a few minutes.
