well, I took off the black heat shields from engine heads,

And like most say, in the track there is no problem, but street riding is unvairable.

Will have to install them back on.

Has anyone installed some heat shield under the seat and subframe, that are sold on eBay by the guy of the throttle spacers?

Any experience with them ?

I did purchase the ones you mentioned for my 2021 Panigale V4 but didn't install them since for me it seemed like a lot of work for minimal if any gain.

I am few days away from picking up my 2023 Panigale V4S and will ride it around the street for a bit and if it runs Cooler then my 2021 bike i won't bother installing them on it either.

Kinda long winded ahe, probably should of waited until I finished my Coffee before posting.

Man it’s not a small project but the H20 Radiator works phenomenally well on these bikes keeping temps down, so much so that on cooler days I have to start my bike 10 minutes before going out on track because it takes two laps to get the second bar on the heat indicator and get the bike out of limp mode, on hot days it barely touches 4 bars and goes to three a couple seconds after you stop flogging it.

And that’s at the track, on the street it just stays at 2 bars with an occasional blip up to three. I road it to the shop the other day in shorts, only a hint of discomfort by the left ankle, before that would be a 2nd degree burn

Happy days! 😊

I have to put tape on my radiator guard on colder days, or the bike never gets up to temp on track.

Of all the parts I’ve put on my bike that radiator might be the one that does what it’s intended to do the best. Other stuff is good but getting the most out of them is beyond me so far, but that radiator just does it’s job better than expected.

I also think keeping the average temps down over time will increase the longevity of the bike.

By the way, thanks for the tip in one of your vids on that Spider clipon adjustment tool, had to lower my front end recently because I went from a 120 to a 125 front tire and that Spider tool came in handy.

As an aside, I figured out how to lower the front end without even putting the bike up on a stand. You just lower the clipons the amount you want to lower the bike below the upper triple clamp and then retighten them, then loosen the triple clamp bolts and lightly twist them using the clipons to rotate the fork, the fork then just pops up to the new location of the clipon clamp. The clipon clamp functions as a kind of stop.

I'm surprised you get 4 bars with that radiator.

I've never seen 4 bars with the factory rad even in Qatar heat.

Was only on a 102 degree Fahrenheit day at Fontana last summer. At that track you spend a lot of time near the rev limiter.

With the factory rad I’d get 4 bars out on the street occasionally on hit summer days. But to be fair I never do longer cruising rides on the bike, the only time I take it out on the street is to do a little 20 minute adrenaline run between track events, so I’m keeping it in a low enough gear that it stays above 7k rpm most of the time.

I think I have a set here, unused and still in the package - didn’t end up using them. You can have them for shipping if you want.
