I know, get a different bike, but I have been thinking of various ways to go from tippy toes to close to flat footed on my new 19 Panigale V4S.
First Question: Does moving the preload adjusters on the Ohlin rear spring change the ride height at all? i.e. Putting the adjusters all the way to the top should make the ride softer and thereby slightly lower. I am only 136 lbs and have been riding for almost 60 years now. I love this bike and will not give up on this. I have riden the bike and have no real problem with stopping/feet down, but my wife says that if I don't get it lowered, I cannot ride it. Ugh. Help.
Second: The V2 Pirelli Diablo Super tire is a 55 profile. That should help, but I understand that the computer input will be off slightly. that surely can be corrected. 16mm shorter diameter means 8mm lower tire in relation to the bike axle.
Third: The AELLA JAPAN DUCATI PANIGALE V4 V4 S LOWER LINK PLATES LOWER LINK KIT- claims 22mm (almost an inch)
Please no negative comments. At 73 years old, I should be in a wheel chair right? Not me. Going strong and full of life.
