I am thinking of putting my bike for sale locally and maybe on craigslist if i become more serious, and wanted to get a good idea of what to ask before moving forward. I bought my 2015 1299 Base new from Fast by Ferracci near philly PA. I had them install the Akro cans before delivery. I live in Lancaster PA and just never get to ride this bike. Thanks for your input.
2015 Ducati Panigale
Akro slip on
460 miles
NRG fender eliminator
all original extras (seat, pass pegs, usb) still in box.
bike is in perfect condition.

I would throw the stock slip on back on and sell the Akra. My dealer is known for high prices and they have a leftover '15 base 1299 for $17,995. There's also one for sale on this forum.

My guess would be around $16k.

suggestion

I agree... sell akra separately.

I bought my base with 1100 miles for 16.5k about 6 months back. Ask for 16.5 and be ready to part for 15.5 to 16k.

I would definitely recommend advertising it nationally (ducati.org, ducati.ms and ebay). Not too many out there by private seller. I would have driven 250 miles to buy mine. I am sure there are ducati nuts on East coast who would do the same.

Hope you got your first service done already. Provide the receipt to the buyer.

All the best!

Thanks for the feedback! i actually havent gotten the first service done yet because both dealers in my area tell me i have to wait until I have 675 miles. it this correct?

If you are selling the akras separately let me know!

Who on the forums is selling the leftover 15? Happen to have a link? Thanks!

I've seen a 1299s, private party sold for 17,999. Some used/new base 1299, from 14,9-15,9.

Ive spoken to a few dealers, and there is one on ebay selling brand new leftover 2015 1299's for $15,500. A slip on and a couple small things won't make a used bike worth more than a new bike. $14-$15K max in my humble opinion.

Link?? That's a great price!

I took MY 1299S with Akropovic exhaust and about $3000 in other mods including Carbon fiber etc to a BMW dealer and they offered me $15K I have literally over $30K in it.

Once you buy one you are really buried in it if you spend much more on it..

This is the only new 1299 I could find on Ebay. It is 16.5...

The listing either ended or it was bought....
They also were doing a leftover 1299S around $20,000-$21,000 if I recall.
I love laughing at what some guys on here and on ebay want for a used bike.

Sportbikes never do, one the fastest depreciating assets you can own, although S1000RRs seem to be doing a little better than most

S models are selling for what, 18? $8k loss in one year

Yeah...depressing. May as well ride the crap out of it, paying for it either way.

I guess the lesson here is: don't spend a lot of money on something you didn't want in the first place.
