Round the World on an 1199
Couple things now that I'm back in SF (for two weeks):

Anyone going to Sonoma this weekend with Pacific Track time? I'll be there on Sunday. Would be great to see some other 1199s out there and would be nice to meet some of you locals after all this time.

Also--anyone have a set of rear footpegs I can borrow for a few days (mine are in storage in LA)? Maybe a spare helmet, too? :)

I also know that theres SOMEONE out there who desperately wants to track their bike, but lets apprehension and doubt win over desire. Now's your chance to say '.... it' and feel how glorious it feels to be out on the track. I'm happy to ease ya into the process, help prep your bike, bleed your brakes and clutch, explain how a track day works, etc.

Only one caveat: don't blame me if track time becomes an addiction. >)

C and A groups are still open!
 
Ah man! I would love too. But I just moved from SF to LA :/ Still havent tracked it yet.

Since I just moved here I haven't been on top of the track days, I'd like to hit up sonoma though. Is there a site that has the ticket information?

I'm down. My ride from LA to SF Monday tore through what was left of my Supercorsa SC2 rear (as in down to the metal), so I'm on the kickstand until then I can get to Sonoma to get a new set spooned on.
 
AntiHero, just seen this request and yes I have spare pegs and lid.

Most Ducati owners in the bay area usually go to the BARF meet-ups, either SF or San Jose. If you do not know John (el Presidento) then you should get to know him - cool guy with an extensive knowledge of the community.
 
I'll be there as a fan on my "R" w/CF safety-wired heat shield. Say "Hi" to Instructor Big Dave from Doug.
 
Good to see you at the track, Doug. Hope everyone had a great ride yesterday who went out--weather looking really grim Wednesday - Monday.
 
saw one of you guys today on 101 S. I was in the white car, gave a thumbs up. Damn the bike looks sexy
 
Went to ptt Sonoma. Chris from ct racing is the best! Hooked me up with new Diablos for great price.
I'm up for a Pani ride sometime soon. Meet in Tam Valley head up to Pt Reyes Station?
