Tried advanced search and found nothing

Just like the title suggests I was mocking up my front mount to make sure everything fit ok and noticed the bearing (or whatever is in the eye) seems locked up. And I am talking way before the 45nm spec. Checked the rear - same thing

Has anyone else ran into this problem?

Turns out the TTX shocks come with bogus rod ends in em and they all lock up just like mine did

Apparently Öhlins is completely aware of this issue so they sell (separately of course) a upgrade for our shocks

If you have not bought and installed the upgraded rod ends ya might wanna take your .... apart and check it?

No sense buying different springs and/or trying to set sag if you haven’t...

Don;
Thanks, that is very interesting. I am scheduled to take my 1199s into the local Ohlins service center next week to get new springs. I'll ask him about that.

Cool. Suspension is meant to be serviced every other year. Mine only had 7k miles on it but it had been 3 times that long : )

Hope you post what their findings and suggestions

Guys nothing wrong with the stock shock eye if anything the front mount is little more flexible under high loads.

Don can send you all the setup numbers and test info on the other mounts like the Veloce (Richard Boyd), Spyder mount, Corse, etc since he has it all.

If you have Richards mount you need not worry cuz you already have updated rod end up front. The stock one doesn’t fit in a Veloce timount

Depending on how long ago you got it tho you might wanna check the rear : )

I am just here to help - share my experience and understanding. Which I admit is very limited when it comes to a Panigale

The locked up rod ends is a thing. Apparently not just for me. If your rod ends don’t pivot freely good luck setting your bike up
