Any of u guys have any track experience with these helmets?

My hjc is awful at anything over 120. Was interested in grabbing this lid if its a secure lid at faster pace.

Have a X12 and a Corsair V. The Arai fits my head better and is more comfortable to me, but the Shoei is a fantastic helmet as well. Things I like about the X12 are how quite it is for a race helmet and field of view. Great helmet IMO.

My head is oval shaped. The shoei fit really well.

AGV was the worst fit. Ugh. Very disappointing.

3 best fitting were shoei, arai, and seven zero seven.

But 707 is pretty cheap i guess. Looking for a snell rated lid. Not another dot budget helmet.

You should consider as well the Nexx XR2 Carbon...

Light, well built and not to expensive.

I wear an x12 in the track and it's fantastic. Believe it or not the rf1200 is just as good and is cheaper. I have both. Also can't go wrong with the bell star. Those nexx helmets are super lite but man they feel cheap matter of fact my friends have 2 nexx helmets and bumped it and the carbon cracked. If you want a carbon helmet get the bell star

I got the laseca red white and green. Italian colors. It looks sick. I should get it monday. Got it from competition accessories. 494.99. Freaking steal for the helmet.

I cant wait to get out and ride in it. This HJC is just too big. Its and XL and I should be wearing an L.

Congrats. I've been looking at the Laseca graphic because it's been on closout for a while. That is the best price I've seen though. Only thing about the X12 is that it's relatively heavy compared to other top-level helmets.

+1 Mark's comment on the Nexx helmets. I've seen and handled the new XR2 and it seems very similar to the previous generation, albeit a bit improved. They still "feel" a few steps cheaper than the established brands.

I tried it on at the store and it fit killer.

Didn't notice the weight too much. Glad it was on closeout. After seeing what the x12 was about I really wanted it. But full price they aren't cheap.

The X12 is a solid helmet. I'm a Corsair V guy but you can't go wrong with either helmet since they have similar fits.

I like mine! Just wish I could get a Transitions face shield for it...

I have the XR1-R from Nexx. I wont be buying another one. Build quality isn't a patch on Shoei/Aria, its noisy, and didnt do particularly well in tests.

Visor is a b!tch to get a good seal, and the clips that hold it on are prone to break.

And you can't use a pinlock if you ride a sportsbike, as the pinlock seal is directly in your line of vision. May be they've changed this for the XR2.
