I currently have the Puma flat V2 boots which are nice but I'm only 5'5 with 30 inseam and looking for a boot with a thicker sole and some more protection. Any opinions/suggestions are welcome. Thanks

Just glue some blocks of wood onto the soles like "Shortround" had when driving a car in one of the Indiana Jones movies(2nd movie i think)lol:D

I use dainese trq out. I like them
With 28.5 inseam they feel fine

Hey ShakeNBake,

Can't help with the boots but noticed that we both ride the same bikes and drive the same cars - I have a Panigale and a 2012 Audi S4 too.

I am also vertically challenge. Other than using boots to compensate, is there a way to lower the suspension safely on the 1199 panigale? Will changing the track setup from P to F help?

I've lowered bikes before, but it really messed with the handling characteristics so i would advise against that. I think a big thing is to have the bike actually setup for you. I've been messing with some of the settings on my bike for the past two days and it already feels better. The bike has settled a bit and the height isn't really an issue anymore.

I use Sidi Vertigo's for everyday riding. I use my Vortice's when I use my leathers. I have a 30" inseam and can come close to flat footing but not quite. I have my bike set to P as of last week and have not lowered the bike at all.

I don't have boots but wear a normal running shoes. My inseam is 32 and height is 5' 8". Little bit uncomfortable but I'm getting used to my Pani.

I was messing with the preload a bit. After riding every day this week the bike is feeling a lot better and I am getting more comfortable with the bike and its characteristics. Its quickly becoming my favorite bike I've owned so far :)
