Should I Ditch The Lambda O2 Sensors?

So, I'm in the process of installing an SC Project S1-GP full system on my Ducati Panigale V4S. I've also installed a Sprint F1 high flow air filter, and I'm in the process of installing a Brentuning flash. My question is, do I need to keep the O2 sensors? What's the difference of keeping them vs getting rid of them? Keep in mind the Brentuning flash can be done with or without the O2 sensors.

The OEM lambdas aren't very useful, they only provide very vague readings and won't ever be gainfully employed in actually managing A/F. A canned map that completely disables them is *likely* better.

From what I have read, keeping or removing the O2 sensors with a Bren tune may not make a difference. Your mileage may vary, but many people are not seeing much difference with the Bren tune (although some have). I would suggest asking BT if you should use their flash with or without the O2 sensors (and why).

The O2 sensors only are going to have an effect up too about 15% throttle they are useless above that. If you remove them with a factory map you most likely will get a error on the dash. If you have a tuned map on the bike if whoever did it correctly would have deactivated the O2's. A Bren tune is just a upmap they don't actually tune the bike so what you get and the next 20 customers get the map is gonna be the same.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I ended up talking to Brentuning about it, and they told me that I have to keep the O2 sensors in with their flash, unless I want to custom tune the bike on a dyno, which I'm not going to do right now. At some point, I'll get my V4 on a dyno to check the data, and I'll make changes then if it's necessary. I really appreciate all the help guys. ✌
