SL magnesium wheels

The OZ Wheels look lighter :)

I think it was posted somewhere that the OZ aluminums are slightly heavier than the Marchesini Mags, and if you went to the magnesium OZ Cattiva that you would be lighter than the Marchesini Mags.

I believe the BSTs are slightly lighter than the OZ Mags, but not by much, few 10th of a pound total maybe.

If there is a mag wheel lighter than the Marchesini mags, should that have been used instead on the SL?

Unless Ducati has a deal with Marchesini on the wheels that they decided to stick with them else they would have used something else which gave them a greater weight saving

Brembo/Marchesini same company..so perhaps its simply means one less supplier to deal with...rather than the lightest/best wheel.. Maybe??

As Brad said there is nothing in it so why bother . STW is on the money .

Hello Fahed,

the M9RS wheel is a special wheel exclusivity of Ducati Performance. I’m sorry.

They might be available here in the UK, I could be wrong but I have emailed the supplier - just wait and see what he says!
