Slip on? Or full system? 2018 v4s

I am looking for sound opinions on exhaust systems for my new v4s project. It will be at the track this year, I will have it tuned, and buttoned up before I take it there. It’s stock at the moment and I think the way it sounds is honestly a little embarrassing. Just my opinion. I put a full titanium vandemon system on my 1199s and I love the look. Underbelly, carbon, blue titanium, looks great, sound could be better. I would like it a little louder but overall it is nice and very affordable. I don’t feel like an 8k exhaust system is going to make me a better rider. Therefore it’s not in my future. My question, and forgive my anecdotal nature, is what is to be gained in a full system vs a slip on and which one would you all recommend? I like the slip on Termi underbelly with the carbon tips. Vandemon makes a similar underbelly exhaust, and there are others obviously.

What I end up with will be greatly influenced by what I hear from the forum so fire away.

Side note- I’d like to possibly save some money for other things and hopefully I can be in the 3-4k range maybe? This is a third bike so I can’t spend another fortune on this build.

A slip on will give you 95% of the benefits, there is a small power increase and corresponding tiny loss of weight using a full system, unless you are racing on a cost/benefit basis its not worth it. If you want the look and the satisfaction of a full titanium system then it is worth it!

I know that if I get a slip on, it will only be a matter of time before I look at it and decide to do a full system. It’s the typical progression. However, the v4 looks like a much bigger pain in the ass to put a full system on vs putting one on my 1199s. The ‘99 was really easy. I’m curious if there is a slip on that is compatible with a full system if I wanted to start with one and then add the headers at a later time.

Is there a brand that you prefer? I really like the Termi Uscite system, the Zard under tail looks pretty sick as well. I might spring for a whole system and go that route even though I shouldn’t. I think those two look really legit. I also like the ease of the upmap vs. a second fuel unit like a rapid bike or having it tuned at a shop
