Solid or graphics?

Ramping up to upgrade to an Arai corsair X. I can live with some of the graphics, but they've always looked a bit outdated to me compared to other manufactures. Now I'm beginning to contemplate a solid color (black or black frost) and was curious on how many of you guys rock solid color as opposed to graphics on your lid?

The new 2017 Arai Corsair X "Schwantz" is nice. It's not out yet but it looks awesome. It's old school with simple graphics. Schwantz 93 You can see it on the Arai website.
 
Being a Panigale owner with a Jap budget, I definitely wouldn't pay for the decorations that aren't even unique or individual. Way back when I had my Shoei airbrushed with a design of my own and the cost for plain black plus airbrush was still below the replicas'. The guy is still active. I'm an Arai guy too...but I agree...nothing in their current line-up appeals to me aesthetically...and I'm due for a new bucket. I'd love to find someone on the West Coast to airbrush one!
 
This corsair X is appealing but dang, the mark up over the base corsair x is nutty....close to if not $1000 just for Ducati graphics!

I know a guy here in SoCal but he's going to be expensive. Unreal work! Check out his Instagram @atnracing. I'm picking up the new Pista GP R but again really limited graphics options...

You can always change the solid to anything you wanted...

My wife got a heck of a deal on an RX-Q, and in fact just bought the pearl white solid. I have a vinyl cutter, so it matches the scheme on her bike. Still planning something for the white, but here is the silver

Ive always had graphics because solid is too boring but i totally agree with arais line up, theyre ok but nothing amazing. I just got the pista gp and it looks just like any other helmet and when people come into my office no one pays any attention to the pista but the arais get the love.

get a solid and have it painted how you want it with the leftover or get it wrapped..
 
So I ordered this helmet as it sports the Italian flag colors without having "Ducati" plastered on it everywhere. hopefully the green will be nice and bright and not have a minty tint or I'll send it back and get the black white and red statement or the like. Always hard to tell from Internet photos what the true colors are.

$10-skys the limit. Theres no set price because it all depends on what you want and how good you want it to look
