this is what I did I got a base 1199 with abs and a MV Agusta F4R at my riding lever I don't need an 1199r or F4RR the base model is just as good as the top model, most of the people the jump on the R wagon is just for bragging just to the Ducati fanatic because the average person don't know the different from a base model and a R. and please don't tell is for racing.

There is an excellent review in another post on here..the post in regard to not feeling different enough. Non biased, and does a good job to basically say all levels of the bike are good and have a purpose to each buyer. If i add an MV, it will likely be the r,but alot of stars will have to line up

You mean RR or the R?

If I don't get the Pani R, and keep my current Pani base ABS, I'm going to consider the MV F4R.l'd love to add that beside my Aprilia and Duc. I'm not in love with the graphics on the rr to be honest. The base white looks great and the r looks good too

I test ride the mv rr and to be honest yes is a more attention to detail bike than the r but the 5 more hp hyper don't make no difference at my riding skill lever also the $5000 extra for ohlins and forged wheels don't take my sleep is the same thing with the panigale, anything above a base panigale with ABS it just bragging right.

OOOH that white F4R:cool:

Unless mistaken,I think you can get the r in the red and silver.I think the white looks slick...but I'd never buy white and I've only seen it in pics. In person would tell the tale good or bad...

Don't forget, you'll probably be looking to put on Bodis/MotoCorse/Arrow/MVA exhausts to complete the bike. All the F4's are excellent. The RR just gives you a little bit more than the base R - similar to the R on the 1199.

I had a 2010 F4 with the Bodis exhaust. Brilliant bike!!!

There were some mentioned exhausts, but I'm not up to speed on any of them. What one do you think gives best sound/power gains and what's the best avenue ECU wise? Do some of the exhaust for MV's come like the Duc Termi's do with an up map. I like to keep the exhaust/fueling thing kind of simple like Duc does with Termi and Aprilia with Akra. appreciate the info.

I had the slip on Bodis. Round slash cut tail pipes. Killer looks and sound, no fueling issues, just bolt it on. Can't comment on performance as the bike was fast beyond my capabilities stock. But the sound, oh the sound :D.
I think the full systems need a piggy back. Never heard of an upmap for their ECU's. MVagusta.net has all the information you could need. Great people there. Except for me. I'm an ........

Right on thanks for the info.

There is an upmap (race ecu) for their track exhaust. With Bodi's since they aren't factory, doesn't supply one but have heard people use the race ecu with the bodi's. yeah, the sound of the bodis is 2nd to none - its like the sound of an aston martin v12. . ..

Also, if you want tuning, the rexxer guys have been tuning F4's for awhile now. They can extract an insane amount out of the stock ecu. . .

Thanks Anthem, collecting as much info as I can and gonna make a decision.I'm thinking I'd really like to have an MV...starting to lean that way.I might end up living and sleeping in the garage with the 3 of them though...she's gonna go apeshit

Something that really pisses me off about MV is that disgusting exhaust weld. I don't know if you have seen it in person, but it looks way worse than in photos.
