Happy to find a V4 spare parts catalogue in Ducati Official website, but after i downloaded it, i seen it is for Panigale V2 "R" version.

Interesting to see all the acoustic dampening material on the inside of the fairings in drawing 37 - guess thats euro4 at work.

Euro standards have nothing to do with engine noise it’s emissions.
Majority of noise is exhaust noise not the engine.

Think you’ll find it’s because the engine is so close to fairings that it’s heat protection.

Euro standards have 3 emissions parts, hydrocarbon/evaporative emissions, noise emissions and exhaust emissions.
