Special for Gunny

Can't wait for the Gunny-bike to drop below superleggera weight with all the lightweight bling on it.

This would definitely add well to the look of your bike though.

Good question... what is the current weight on that bike Gunny Fitz??

What you mean Burger King ....

eating fa(s)t food is voting for .... with your money -- the only real vote one has....and not just ...., but destructive corp policies from environment to DC lobbying, etc etc etc...

buy the kickstand before you support McD's, starfux, burgerking, etc

:p

I did a pass on the carbon fiber kick stand, mainly for it being a dead cert for scratch-up.

However, if you want to push the boundary a little further then you want to look at the " Carbon Fiber Rear Hugger oil tank holder". Got one and it is even more outrageous (price) than the carbon fiber rear stand.

So this works fine with no issues whatsoever? Well, except for the polarity issue with the magnet...??

It works as supposed :)
Well there's not much functionality a kick stand does have.
It's superlight and rock solid, made in the autoclave. foot has an aluminium inlay. What really suprised me is that I never ever heard any cracking sound from CF when you e.g. overthight something.

But swivel the kick stand into riding position doesn't give you this snappy sound like the OEM :(

Love those screws and safety wire looks trick. Now all you have to do is replace the black hydraulic line with Brembo clear to make it really look neat.

I had the CNC cap on my rear brake reservoir as well but in the Titanium colour and had the caps on both tanks on the clip ons. Ended up going back to std as the sun reflected off both brake and clutch reservoirs caps and was distracting on rides. Tried to sell them all on here but did not get a bite. So sitting in my pile of spare bits.

That piece of carbon looks good. I would love to go all gloss carbon on my bike. One day.

welcome to the club of pile keepers :)
yep, you're absolutely right. looked several times for this tube, but could'nt find a seller in Switzerland with reasonable pricing. I think that industrial tubes like TYGON could also be used, but my hydraulics knowlegde is really very poor.
E.g. TYGON 2475
Maybe someone on the forum knows more?

How did you get on with fitting the reservoir bracket? How did you attach the lambda sensor plug and rear brake switch to it, as on most carbon versions there are no moulded clips on the end into which the oil pressure switch clips, where normally they would go.

I tried fitting my CDT version but it also lacks the clips and channels inside for the ABS and wiring. Makes it very d to mount and not very secure. Have had to re-fit the OEM part for now until I can work out another solution.

Uhhh.... long time ago. I even can't remember what brand the CF part is. Have to search first in a pile of old invoices :(

But channels where there, I just replaced the OEM, reservoir bracket was like on the original, no changes required. I can remember that I had to change something below the fairing, but I would have to take the stuff appart to see how I've done it. But its secure, run the bike this way for tsds of km.

If you wait until end of Ferragosto, I'll show you. Have to make this mod as well on the SL.
