The ? About the model of the engine would be yes. They come with bike when you purchase the Speciale.

Yes and the model comes with the same number plaque on it as your actual bike.

Pretty cool and good talking point

Ok I finally got my magnesium marchesini wheels delivered and fitted. only took about 6 months! As a consolation I got to keep the standard black rims and tyres.

I had my first track day on it before they were fitted and just about shagged out the rear tyre, so a new set was needed. great day though, what an awesome bike on the track.

here's a photo, all finished now.

Looking sweet DucSyd!

It's nice that you got to keep the stock forged rims too. Makes life so much easier when you have track tires and street tires.

As for me, it was very hard to justify getting the BST carbons, having already the mag rims. But I think I found a way LMAO!

I recently got a nice deal on a pair of Ducati Capits (370 Euro), but having tire warmers means I have to get track tires (slicks), and having slicks, I must have a pair of track rims, because you know, it's a nightmare to have someone constantly pulling off the tires from the mag rims and mounting the track tires....sooooo tadaaaa BST carbons are suddenly in the plan

I like your thinking AndreiD.

I wasn’t sure I would want a spare set of rims, but now I have that option it will be good. This bike devours tyres at the track so will be better to have a dedicated set ready, with track only tyres.

What a bike, I am blown away by how easy it is to ride fast at the track. I would say perfect!

Enjoy mate

My Speciale now looks complete with the mag wheels, and they feel great, so light.

Enjoy it too!

The gold mag rims look so great on the bike and what I like most is that it matches the gold part of the clutch cover. This is why on the Speciale mag, it would be a pity to mod the clutch cover to clear since I think it breaks the overall theme of the bike.

Next mod for the spring is adding the Evotech radiator guard set. https://www.carbon4us.com/en/evotec...uard-set-panigale-v4-evotech-performance.html

In my country roads are crap and most of the times it has debris all over the place. Lesson learned from my '12 BMW K1300R! After almost 20.000km the radiators, especially the water cooling rad is literally shot to death by pebbles, small rocks or big freaking bugs.

Back on topic, I saw this https://www.carbon4us.com/en/1199/8338-titanium-oil-radiator-protection-screen-v4.html but simply could not justify the price for the titanium guard, but man oh man look at those goldish accents that would look killer with the gold mag rims.

Yeah know what you mean with the clutch cover being Gold. Before my mags got delivered I got a clear clutch cover which was red on the outside, which looked great with the Black rims but now doesn't quite look as good with the Gold Mags, but I spent £450 on it so im finding if difficult trying to take it off now (

I feel you! But if you have in fact both rims (forged black, and gold mags) you have the best of both worlds. Don't sweat about the clutch cover and in fact as a bonus you get to see your plates hehe

Have you replaced the clutch and brake reservoir on yours to the rizoma ones AndreiD ? This is another thing for me........... can’t make my mind up between the red or black ones,

Lol I’m getting in a right muddle with these colours

I had the Evo tech radiator guards fitted when the exhaust was fitted as it has to be placed between the black plastic radiator shroud and the radiator. Mine is the black one, but that motocorse titanium one is stunning, expensive though.

Good luck

Were you at the SMSP on 8th December?

I pondered about the Rizoma clutch and brake fluid reservoirs but I decided to skip them and just use the stock plastic ones, as for sure those are a bit lighter and I'll just cover them up with some Ducati Corse socks :D

Yeah, I couldn't fork out 6x the amount of money the evotech is. And since we are talking about titanium which offers lots more protection because of it's toughness compared to aluminum, I wondered if that would make it a bit heavier too compared to the Evotech.

It will have to be in the New Year for me, and I hear Superbike School will take over the organisation in 2019.

I met with Bruce he came and said Hi, said he was giving a chase to me and we were both going a bit hard. Great day.

Cheers, and come say hi next time.

Looking forward Mega run the show again as Stay Up Right was doing a sub par job....

so are they SL wheels? was a direct fit with original spacers? or did they come with spacers.

I think they are the same wheels as the 1199 Superleggera, well they look similar and I have no idea if they came with spacers as they were fitted by the dealer.

I was told the backlog in supply was because of Marchisini's commitment to the race teams.

I ordered these as the option when ordering the bike, so my VIN actually has it as a Speciale Magnesio so I assume that this is a kit for the V4.
