Does anyone know if the Speciale's are all sold out?

And question for the guys in Australia but others can chime in too please:

What would the market price be worth for a MY19 model Speciale with 900kms on the clock, ACRA fitted and upmap loaded and in show room condition?

Bike is in Sydney Australia

i've seen one at a dealer in the New York/Connecticut area not sold

It may be that they have finished the production run, but there are plenty still out there in dealerships.

Just feeling out the market. Still love the bike. But boy is it fast. I haven't been on a decent road yet where I have taken it past 12K RPMs

I'm not as good a rider as I thought LOL

Lmao, wait till you break it in, take it to SMSP and rev pass 14K and hear the akra screaming mate, unforgettable sound track..... There's a Ducati track day at SMSP on the 8th Decemeber, both Ducati owner clubs in NSW are attending, you should come, guarantee fun :):):)

You should be able to move it if you want. You should be able to get close to what you paid for it.

I have a Speciale, and a number of guys have come up to me saying they have one on order but won’t get delivery till later in the year or even early next year.

By the way I love the bike, what a machine.

Ah it's sold in Australia only because your allocation was low.. I think a total of 60 Units were allocated to Australia/NF Imports

But here in the USA I think you can still get them.. Just with a wait of course

60 / 1500, that's very high %, one thing for sure is the dealer owner himself or the business always reserved one for them self, been to their collection room, all the limited edition and rare model is in there, mint condition. 851,888,916,996,SL, Desmo etc....some wasn't ridden at all......:eek::eek:

There will be plenty for sale when the R, superleggera/motoGP spec comes out.

Halo 2, why?

I didn’t want an R which will be a homologation model for WSBK racing duties and fo ethos’s that want to race them.

I wanted a Speciale as a nice V4 road bike for the occasional track day.

I assume they will be very different choices.

Have any of you Ozzies got your Magnesium wheels yet?
Im keen to see what these look like on the Speciale

Because the Special is just a paint job and a R model is a R model .
Enjoy your bike I'm glad you like it but others will get rid of them to buy a R as Halo had said .

Just go and book 8th december smsp with stay upright.... rock up early and pick one garage that wasn't reserved and move your bike in, tyre warmer and everything.

I agree with you. For those that don't track much the regular Panigale with e suspension will serve well. I used to go track often but I've gotten very involved in my church and my weekends are shot.

I've had both Panigale R versions in the past and they are not a joy to ride in the street. I've done it during the ownership but I prefer not to if I have a bike like the Speciale(or S). The e suspension is that good in the street.

For those that want a purpose built track bike... Then the R should be their choice. Or better yet... As some consider a better choice is to buy a base(new or used) and build a track bike... If not restricted by the 1000cc limitation.

What Ducati has done with the V4 model line is that they made a clear distinction between road and track bikes. There will probably not be any V4 Panigales under 1000cc unless it's the R model, at least in the near future, which probably will matter in most regional or club races due to engine cc limitations.
