Got the 41T rear sprocket for a 2012 Base Panigale. Noticed my speed is higher on the dash then actual. Is this normal, should ECU automatically compensate for 41T sprocket change?

Thanks

i have the 41 sprocket and my speed is fine. garmin and speedometer were the same. no issues. do you have the most current upmap?

The bike will show 3-7% faster than actual speed, approx from the factory. Did you measure the speed before the mod?

do a back to back GPS measurement.

sprockets won't change speedos.

you will notice it pulling harder though, bringing you faster up to speed :D

I agree with everyone here, I have also done the 41T swap, and my speedo still reads accurately. May be a separate issue with your bike.

So if the speedo is correct, then the bike must be running that much better. I am pulling triple digits and feels like i am doing 80mph. Woohoo!!! This is awesome.

Thanks y'all
