another good read on the race... good way to break it down with all the players in the race ...

Examining ?The Pass? at Assen
In addition to Rossi's Ducati years, I think it just took him a long time to heal and get his confidence back after that huge off he had (can't remember what year it was)
Stoner was so much more likable than Marquez, I just find MM really irritating
Mugello 2010. He broke his leg something awful. It gave Lorenzo the chance to win his first championship.
Lorenzo was whipping Rossi's butt in 2009. Some press say he was "lucky" to be injured to avoid being embarrassed by Lorenzo.
2009 he was champion by 45 points 6 wins 13 podiums
2010 - Tore a ligiment in his shoulder then broke a leg in June and still took 3rd place in the championship. Not bad for an injured old guy.
2011- 2012 on a GP11/12 peice of crap still manage to take 7th and 6th
2013- back to Yamaha a development year for him and still took 4th
2014 - 2nd
2015 -1st so far.
Who said Rossi is washed up? seems to me he has done nothing but improved except for the two years on a bike that wouldnt turn.
Rossi has always been a bully and gotten away with it. He punked Gibernau for a couple of year, tried to rough up Stoner, pulled a few on Jorge, now showing MM who's the boss.
Stoner's pretty clean I have to say, when he won races, he was killing it. Too bad he's such a whiny bitch. Sheer talent, that guy. The way he pivots the rear wheel around the corner and pins down the throttle, awesome site to see.
