SPOILER...***** Looks like WSBK at Laguna is shaping up nicely.

I never understand why people expect a new model to go out and win right away
Kawasaki been the same bike for a long time and it's fully developed
I remember reading all the negative racing comments that Ducati will never win with the Panigale

Hopefully this will put a stop to the naysayers, who wondered why the Panigale couldn't win. A double win at Laguna, is a definitive feather in the cap for both Ducati and Chaz Davies.

Great job by Chaz; flawless riding.

Happy for Ducati, even more excited for Chaz. I hope he finally gets to stick with one manufacture while enjoying some success for a while. Been following him ever since he rode in the AMA.

Fantastic riding by Chaz! Hopefully he can take the momentum into the next races.

Am I going to have to be the one to say it? Ducati needs a bike that can fight for the entire championship, not just a couple tracks (Aragon and Laguna). Kawasaki is confirmed to have a new ZX-10R coming next year, is Ducati still planning on running the Panigale? Unless the Panigale can finish this year strong, it's still sitting at just 3 WSBK wins since it debuted in 2012. That's just 3 wins during a time when WSBK is somewhat weak when it comes to manufacturer effort. Yamaha returns next year and if Honda and Suzuki debut new bikes competition will be much tougher for the Pani. So yes... I think Ducati needs a new bike (V4 please!!).

I would guess the new Pani is probably two years away. The Brow is going to be busy next season adapting to the new tires and such with the GP program. I'm guessing he will have a hand in shaping the next Ducati superbike. Just a guess though.

They dont need a new bike. Chaz could have easily won the double at Aragon if not for hitting the button and switching the TC for 3/4 laps. Then, he didnt finish at Imola because of bike issues, and the 2 crashes I think. Every other race he's basically been on the podium, with the exception of 1/2 4th place finishes. Let's see how the rest of the season goes. Look how competitive Fores, Bayliss, and Lucca were out the box on these bikes.

Ducati took a huge gamble dispensing with there tried and prove cr moly steel trellis frame, if that wasn't enough in its self add the super short stoke stress bearing engine.

Canepa also did good job even with his tech' problem

I am personally happy that there is some success with the frameless design in professional motorcycle racing.

I was surprised with the release of the 1199 frameless concept after it bombed in MotoGP.

By the way, my prediction of 1'22" s in qualifying, was Soooooo close to 1'21" s... Very near the last MotoGP qualifying times.

Dominating performances by Chaz - class act guy to boot

Right after the race I went for a glorious sunset ride and whispered to myself "ride like Chaz" - well I can dream :)

Great race, Chaz was on it at the starts too, the Kawi's couldn't pull him going into turn 2, I hope Davide didn't undo his neck and back with that wreck, it looked bad.
