On my Panigale 1199S I had to adjust the rear spring as I am only 70 Kgs in riding gear. I was told they were set up for guys 80 to 90 kgs.
It didn't take much just a small spring preload adjustment to get the sag right.
I didn't have to touch the front springs as the sag was fine for me. I had enough adjustment in the electronic damper adjustment to get the setups I wanted on the suspension to suit each riding map.
I would say if you do want to set the front sag, you just unclip the electronic cables, adjust the springs then reconnect. It would be that simple.
I love the electronic suspension and can't imagine buying these bikes without it as the electronics and engine maps all work in harmony.
Having said that I only do the occasional track day and the race default settings for me is perfect. So I just press a button and voila.
I ride mainly on the road so I have the suspension set to the different engine maps to suit my weight and style, I can go from soft and cruising to Sport to race hard at the touch of a button and I do this many times on a ride.
Fanatastic, and this is coming from a 60 year old rider. I rode all the older bikes, but love the new technology these offer.
And yes I have a V4 on order.
Cheers all
