Stock cans to Termi headers...?

I have a question that I have not found any answer to by research (here and by Google).
I have bought a Termignoni full system for my 1199 S (it is 96450311B silencers kit + 96480151A Exhaust manifold kit). My plans is to ceramic coat the headers and install the complete system on my bike.

But it feels like a lot of unnecessary work to may have to remove the complete exhaust system for e.g. vehicle inspections etc. Have anybody here modified stock cans to fit Termignoni headers just for temporary use? Any thoughts around this?

Hi Phl, I think you misunderstood my question but I know that you are the man that can answer my question... :)

I already have the slip-on kit including the flange as well as exhaust manifolds 96480151A https://amsducati.com/termignoni-ducati-1199-panigale-exhaust-manifolds-1393

I bought this brand new as a package for almost the same price as only a slip on and I also like the termi carbon heat shield a lot better than the stock plastic. I will install the complete system during the winter and will hopefully not have any problems with that...

My question is more related to a possible mandatory vehicle inspections in the future (as our government is now discussing that) and as many country already have these yearly or every second year inspections I assume someone may have modified stock OEM cans to fit Termi full system headers that they have installed on their bike. i.e. reverse slop-on with termi headers and stock cans just for vehicle inspection purpose (not for daylight use) :)

uuups sorry - the other way round... gotcha. i think that would require a special made flange...

Yes, it require some work and it is nothing that i will do now but maybe later if needed... Jus wondered if someone have done it...

its worthless to do.

Your reducing header size to stock exhaust negating the header altogether.

Stay stock at that point.

You don't understand him. He just wants to be able to swap the stock cans onto the Termi headers temporarily for bike inspections. Then swap it right back afterwards. Performance is not an issue.

Still not going to happen, everything is night and day different. Not even room to make a custom flange.

Yes, it would only be for about 1 hour and max 10 km ride (and only if needed). As it is now it is not needed but our inspection regulations may change… This is now only something I have been thinking about how to save myself from a lot of extra work replacing the complete exhaust if needed for vehicle inspections (and at the moment we do not have those inspections for bikes here but it may change). And I think it can be done (probably by modifying stock cans inlet to match termi slip-on cans), it does not even need to look good… :)
