It's disheartening when people take someone's precious prize and glory that they have worked so hard for.

It should be legal for thieves to be lobotomised for the safety of decent folks.

Thanks for the support and spreading the word.
Unfortunately there is no good news so far.

By the way, was it a private garage they broke into or a shared garage? Curious to know the level of skill of the thieves.
The Ducati was parked in a car parking space in the local underground car park (total 35 spaces).
Access is only possible with the appropriate key or radio remote control, unfortunately there are no cameras installed...

Sorry to hear mate. The first accessory item I bought when I got my bike was a tracking device, which is installed somewhere in the bike for times like this. We spend a lot of money on this toys and we should protect them as much as we can. In my case, once the bike has move 1 foot from where I parked it I get a phone call and a tracking map to show the route in which the bike is moving. It is like a big air tag. Hope you find it and the people that stole it end up behind bars.
I contacted Ducati directly in the hope that they could track the motorcycle, especially since a GPS module is installed (DDA+ for track data).
Although the connection to the GPS was always signaled on the dashboard during the trip, this could not be tracked.
From now on I will no longer have any motorcycles without a GPS tracker!
But professionals can definitely find and remove them, and there is no signal in the underground car park to report the theft....

That’s odd that there would be no cameras around. Or that the garage would say that. Seems like an inside job to me. Would there be any other cameras in the areas surrounding such as a gas station, grocery store, shop, etc?
