So my 1199R is a race bike, no plans for street use, therefore I tried unplugging the fuse for the lights and I even tried unplugging the connector for the brake light and when I touch the front or rear brake I see a warning on the dash, a red warning in a box: STOP LIGHT.

Any idea how to remove this?

I'm so proud of myself..

I was going to type, "reverse step number 1"
But then I thought better of it and figured if I don't have something constructive to say, don't say anything.

also.

A man walks into a Doctors office and says "Doctor, it hurts when I do this"
The Doctor says.
"Don't do that"

and the number 7.

Reconnect wires, ( back and front). You can find plugs under the fairing (just follow brake wires) .

@joshinthecity :) This is why I don't post on-line or text after drinking.....

@sutki no wires are disconnected, I just removed the tail light all together. I thought about jumping the wires or trying to remove the plug from the tail light and plug it back in but that appears to be harder than I expected.

ALL, I am looking for an answer here. I put solid, reliable info on here to help others. I pay it forward, please do the same.

:)
