So My bike is just about done and ready to pick up. I’m really looking forward to getting her. But the one thing I would like to change are the mirrors. Im not sold on the look. I put bar end mirrors on my 1290SD and love them. id like something like that I think but not round ones. The ones on my Duke are like a teardrop but pointed at the end and look real cool. Anyone have any thoughts ??
 
Can’t help on the bar end mirrors but I bet your having fun atm since picking it up Lol
 
Crg have some sort of vibration dampning material in them, motogadget have no glass in them at all. They have some fancy plama coating to reflect (pretty cool). Driven Racing are nice, customizable with colors and what not. Those are the only ones I have had experience with(as well as cheap Chinese mirrors).

I ordered the MO.View Blade set up they look to be very high quality. thanks very much for the help man!

Hey Sumfun, nice pics, you have done exactly the same mods I will be having when my bike arrives, good taste mate, quick question, are the front stock turn indicators Led? I know that they are larger than the Rizoma but not sure if they are incandescent bulbs or Led, cheers

thanks man. They are LED offered by Ducati. Not sure what the part number is. Sorry

It seems the EU spec bikes have large LED units while the US spec bikes have even large bulb type signals. The LED signals marketed under the Ducati Performance name are very small and sleek. I just ordered two sets on Amazon p/n 96680201A.

I used the same ones on my '14 Panigale and it didn't require a resistor or anything.

i just installed the crg arrows with their bar end adapters which are required. They are so much more useable that the stock ones. With the stock ones I had to pull my elbow in before I could see anything behind me. With the crg mirrors I was able to set them in the perfect position. Their arms also rotate and lock into a fixed position. So you can swing them down and out of the way for storage or splitting and then pop them back up into position and they will be back to where you set them up for viewing before.

For the removal of the oem mirrors, you will need shorter bolts, or cut down the original ones. The mirror bolts also hold the fluid resivoir brackets down so they need to be reinstalled, however without the oem mirrors they are too long. And the right side, the mirror bolt is reverse thread. I spend some time at my local parts and hardware store trying to source a shorter reverse thread bolt without luck. My parts guy found a website where I could order the reverse bolt I needed, however 1 bolt was $16 and minimum order of $50 to be eligible for shipping. So I just went home and cut down the oem bolt carefully and have no issues at the moment.

I’m waiting for Motogadget MoView Blades...they are sold out every where and waiting for them to be in stock ...I emailed the company and they said that they are ramping up production on those and I should check back in last week of August....Also looking at some Rizoma bar ends .I had Rizoma spy r 60 on my Monster 1200s and just loved them.This time I want something different for SFV4s ..Maybe even reverse Retro or Reverse Radial from Rizoma

I have the Motogadget blades and really like them, But you need their bar ends to mount them. they won't work with Rizoma bar ends as far as I know.
 
I have the Motogadget Pace, fantastic mirrors! I'd think any bar adapter with the correct OD would work, though I do also use the Motogadget bar end adapters also.

Ya they won’t...I’m planning to order their bar end adapters which double up as weight too...Did you order Motogadget bar end uni cap? Can you post some pics of the bike with them?
