So I'm in the process of swapping out the OEM stuff for the quick change stuff and have a question about the washer that sits between the OEM hub and the bearing. It appears as thought the Superlight hub does not use it. There is a slight recessed area for it to sit in on the OEM hub but not the Superlite hub. It looks like if I put it in there the entire hub is not spaced properly. Can anyone confirm this for me?

Pretty much every manufacturer specs there flange hubs to the oem since that washer actually does something. Without that thrust washer the carrier wont have a bearing surface. The best way to test to make sure everything is working properly take the cush drives out bolt on the flange with carrier and torque the axle nut down. With the thrust washer installed you should be able to freely rotate the carrier. You remove the thrust washer you will be able to push/pull the carrier by the thickness of that washer.

I had to send mine back to Superlite as they told me they could have sent the 1199 part instead of the V4 part. I measure the thickness etc and they confirmed this. So I am waiting for a new carrier/center cover that would fit the V4.

Not sure if there is any difference between the 1199 and 1299 part.

I heard back from the company that makes it and yes it is designed to use the OEM spacer/washer and the thin washer that goes between the nut and the flange. Thanks for the replies guys.
