Hi guys, ducati doesn't have any tail bag or anything for me to have some bags in order to make some trips.

But the point is not to heart the bike from the sides etc.

Please if anyone has some or knows something that we can use tell me

charlie how can i upload pic too here??
and in the profile?
sorry for asking that silly question...

you got the comfort seat i see!!!!!!!
I want to order it now too, the same one because my balls are killing me with the stock seat and i slip over a lot too.

Are you happy with that seat?? is it less slippery???

Home made standoffs for saddlebags.

Standoffs come off and go on in under a minute. Since then Bags Connection has come up with Blaze Saddlebags which achieve the same thing, but much more elegantly.

FastRack plate FastRack Motorcycle Luggage Rack - Whitehorse Gear can be used alone to provide tie down points for a knapsack or tail bag.

Factory tank bag is shown in the first pics, but is now sitting in box gathering dust as I've gone to using one of these.

Bags-Connection EVO "Sport" Quick-Lock Tankbag for SW-MOTECH Gascap Mounting System - Panigale 1199 '12-'13 - Ducati - Shop by Bike - TwistedThrottle.com

Since it can be used to mount a GPS and can be fit to my other bikes. There is also a smaller Bags Connection bag available. Saves me from having to put a GPS mount on every bike I own.

Try the Ventura bag. They are out of New Zealand. Great bag. Install is a bit of a bitch. Watch that you don't strip bolts. Other than that you don't even know it's there

Ducati DOES make a tail and tank bag specifically for the Panigale. Or are you looking for something outside what Ducati offers?

Yup Ducati does have a tail bag...by ducati performance...comes with straps and a waterproof cover. It straps to the rider's seat and hooks up on the pointy part of your tail. Good Quality bag from Ducati...and it expands upwards too by unzipping the zipper to make the bag taller.

I don't trust the snap fasteners on the tail bag, too much play in them, not military grade like ITW Nexus. I got additional strap Velcro to parallel the included straps for added safety at speed. Bag avoids frontal airstream until you tuck in and then it is also affected by side winds. JMO. Otherwise the DP tank / tail bags are perfect and have internal stiffeners to maintain shape. Be prepared to for up $$$$$$ for them though.

Retro-fitted my old Eclipse tank bag. Works really well and doesn't interfere.

Kreiga R10 or R20 bags are easy to fit to the rear:

Twisted Throttle has these saddle bags:

And this tank bag, which can be secured on the tank quick-release-style:

The latter I'll be using for the next great Panigale adventure.....

(I'll have to add that a backpack is about the best way to carry anything on the 1199.)

Indeed they are: Here's a Kreiga US20 & US10 combo on my Pani (not me on it) overlooking the SC Piedmont last May. You can stuff a lot into those things!

I use a Kriega 20 and 10 together on the back. Works well. And throw a Kriega backpack on. I think I have the R25. Have to check.

Wondering about Kriega

Hi there just wondering about how you have mounted your Kriega 20 to the tail? pics would be really good much appreciated. Cheers Luke

I realize this is an old post, but I'm going to take issue with ti. I have the Ducati bag. Quality is NOT good on mine, it has very poor features compared to other bags costing a fraction of it's price. At $200 it's the most over priced motorcycle accessory I've ever seen.

Hi Guys

I have just registered on the forum and would like to refresh that thread. My new DP tail bag has just been delivered and I am wondering if anyone has ever used it in your bike. Looks like the mounting system is different than in previous edition as it is designed to be installed in the place of passenger seat.

Before using the new tail bag I would like to ask the users of this fancy DP item if any additional protection is needed on the tail section of my bike. The last thing I would like to see is rubbing paint on the tail section around the quick release "base" where the bag is mounted.

Here is a link to the bag I have:

Thanks in advance for your help!

I use the old version DP tail bag on my MV and it fits and looks a good matching shape, incidentally. It is nothing more than a triangular zippered case that is expandable upward another 2 inches to hold larger items. Because of its shape it looks ok on my MV. I spent a pretty penny on it so I am glad that it works and does the job. Would I buy it again, probably not. There are a lot of choices out there. The new DP bag for the 2015+ Panigales look interesting. I wish I can see more pictures of it in place on the bike. The new Pani has a unique tail setup. I like to get a new tail bag on my R. Let us know how it goes.

DP tail bag finally installed. Sitting firmly in place and seems to be a lot bigger than the old one. Has anyone used it before in your bike?? I am still wondering if the tail section around the bag needs to be protected with wrapping film.
