For those of you that use track body work and remove the rear tail lights this is the connector to unplug so no errors are displayed.

Right hand side of bike

Disconnected

One is for the front, one is for the rear. You need to trace both, starting from the rear brake and the front break levers.

I just gave it a go.. didnt work lol

Disconnect the rear switch. I have rearsets and don't use the rear brake switch. Just disconnect it and it should work. Follow the wire up from the footpeg, it's about 30 cms up. Easy.

sweet thanks krikat. What did you do about the headlights? I get this engine error light come on when I disconnect what looks like a sensor on the headlight assembly.

oh i meant when you remove the entire headlight assembly as my track fairings require them off

You need that sensor, it's a single screw that does it up. You will need to mount it on your track fairings in around the same spot. Air temp or flow sensor. Just drill a hole in the intake vent fit the sensor then screw it on. I will see if I can get a pic of it for you.

All sorted :D

Disconnected

Is the wire directly above the disconnected wire the one that needs to be disconnected when you remove the headlights? Anything else need to be done when you remove the taillights and headlight to get rid of the error light?

That wire needs to be disconnected along with the foot pedal brake switch wire. Follow it up from the footpeg and you will find the connector.

Sorry for bringing this up, but trying to find a way to disable taillight. I get a “stop light” indicator if I unplug the tail light and when I use front brake.
