After 430 miles on my Panigale Tricolre it seems that I get a lot of bugs stuck on my visor from riding the back mountain twisties, which is really annoying to me. Its like the airflow from the stock screen pushes the bugs right into my face. I was planning on getting the DP taller windscreen and was wondering if anyone has it installed and what their thoughts were are on it.

I am thinking about getting it but since I have the comfort seat it has added more pressure to my wrists. The one thing that helps alleviate that is the wind on my chest. I am worried that if I get the tall windscreen it will eliminate that. Thoughts?

I saw one installed Friday night and it looked good. The tint on it however was really light. The rider said it made a huge difference with the wind at higher speeds.

Puig is supposed to come out with one real soon. I will be waiting for a darker tint one from Zero Gravity but am not sure when that will be.

Hmmm... That's a good question, not sure but now I'm curious about the comfort seat and it putting more weight on the wrists. Just got home from a quick ride and was thinking about getting the comfort seat myself.

I can't wait until I install the tinted screen just to clear up some of the sun glare on the instrument panel.

Saturday

I am getting my DP tall windscreen installed this coming Sat, along with every other piece of DP carbon made during my first service., I will post how it works along with some pics here so you guys can see, and hear my opinion.

Nest step is the wheels. I am up in the air on either BST carbon or the magnesium ones. I like the 5 spoke better and they only make the 7 spoke carbons for our bikes. I wonder if the gold 5 spoke magnesium ones would look good on the Tri? Thoughts?

One of the guys on here (from GB I believe) put the tri bodywork on his base, with gold wheels, it looked pretty good I thought.

I have the taller screen and the comfort seat the wind still takes off the presure from the wrists but then I am 6' 3" happy with both

I Have had it on for about a month, I'm 6'2" and its spot on. the tint is subtle.

2 things, get your dealer to fit it or superglue those little ....... rubber nuts on.

Secondly your mirrors only fold forwards afterwards otherwise they scrape the screen and won't go fully back anyway.

There are pics on this forum of it, can't remember the thread, just look for my posts.

I have the DP screen and Comfort Seat...think they are both great...but don't expect much glare reduction.

Here ya go!!

Puig sent me pics a while ago telling me they are coming out with a taller windscreen soon. They have had previous issues with their windscreen turning into a magnifying glass and burning spots on your bike, but they have since resolved that issue. They dont look too bad. I'm not sure about prices yet. They are usually pretty reasonably priced.

I thought the DP one was going to be tinted?? WTF over?

Hey man thanks so much! That actually looks pretty damn good!
I am still so up in the air about these or the BSt carbons!

No worries Gunny. My vote is for the BSTs. I just want to see them on a 1199. I agree with you also that a 5 spoke would be better if they made one.

I always loved the look of the gold on the previous Tricolore and the 1098R. I wish the DP windscreen was actually tinted but I'm too impatient and need more parts now. I think it's a sickness or an obsession... Consider it done new screen and seat on Sat.:p

That's a sub unit to Marsoc correct?
Spent 2 yrs with 2/6 down there and HATED every damn min of that place! Pendleton is totally where it's at and where I finally ended up Retiring from.

Time to stare at the BST's again to conduct anti-buyers remorse ops! lol
