I ended up cutting out the servo housing, and I think it could have gone in without doing that, but the extra space made install easier.

Love the Upmap performance improvement. Others have described it well elsewhere, so I’ll spare repeating it.

This was surprisingly affordable, and it shipped with the Upmap unit and one free map. Super easy to do the whole job.

Does this system cancel the factory warranty?

To the best of my knowledge, yes and no. Yes, if your dealer isn’t willing to work with you to figure out legit warranty issues. No, if your dealer is chill, meaning you can reinstall the original fueling map and run diagnostics that way, if needed, and get warranty parts or work done. With that said, my sense is that Ducati is making it harder for dealerships to work on bikes with aftermarket exhausts, unless it’s an Akrapovich sold by Ducati and installed by the dealer.

My bike is out of warranty, so the point was moot anyways.

I also think my hacking out the servo housing kind of popped the warranty cherry, so to speak. 🤣

Would just love it if they had more options, the Akra system is stupid expensive

Totally agree. Ducati used to work with Termi, and though they weren’t cheap, at least they were Italian and badass. Arka doesn’t excite me much, and the price is entirely ridiculous. This exhaust, all in, was like $1200, mapper and map included.

What year was that? When was the last time a full exhaust with a map was $1200?

Ha! Just two weeks ago, and I was also astounded. Check WRS, which priced it much higher but when I checked out my US$ was way lower. I even wonder if it was a mistake.

Also, not a full exhaust. The headders are still stock. You can see that in the photo prior to install.

That is extremely cheap. What website was it on? Upmap alone is like $400

Do you have to pull the exhaust to get the rear tire off? Also, is that pipe going to drag when leaned way over (track)?

Fairly sure my toe would hit first. Haven't had the chance to find out yet.

As for the tire, I don't think so, but if that's the case, it's pretty easy to pop the tail section off. Two springs and a little tug, and I think that'd be easier anyways. With the stock exhaust you're already threading the needle.

I hate the Termi Logo man. Looks like Men Jewels.Once you see it you can't ignore it

LOL! I know, it's a dangler!

But I've been seeing that logo attached to Ducati sport bikes for so many decades that I just see BADASS ITALIAN RACING PIPES! A little male genitalia doesn't seem to contradict that vibe. :)

I'm too old to change my POV....but at least I know it.

A.

good mate. How do you remove the rear wheel without removing the exhaust? and what parts do you disassemble from the eacape so that the change is faster.
