OK, just thought you were trying to make me look like some tight arse pikey, for asking a couple of questions to the supplier, for a product that cost just "$120".

Anyhow, since the supplier can't be bothered to respond to me, I'll source my set elsewhere.

Hmm, he got back to me pretty quick. I just emailed him again, we'll see.
 
I agree with the info from XBOX. I'm still in, put would like to know what we are getting....

These look 100% better than stock. Could use be bolted over the stock ones for added heat protection, so the carbon fiber ones wouldn't melt?

Although, that may look crappy.... dunno.

Just let us know what you find out. Also, if you want more buyers move this to the general section.

Hi Kyle,

Good question, we use a high temperature epoxy resin system, the finished items are pst-cured to a high temperature which gives them resilliance aginst the heat.

Well I tried, he has been nothing but responsive to me. I'll try to pin him down on that now for the others.
 
You live and learn Trauma. If they suck, lesson learned. But all in all, nothing about my bike matters it's a toy plain and simple. It's a blackhole for my money and I accept it. I cherish working on it and servicing it myself so...

I have no kids and no wife.

I have kids and wife! Mine is more of an escape from responsibilities! Work mainly. I like you love to tinker, it was easier back in the 70s, no stupid computer stuff. But what a beautiful palatte to work with!

Sorry for the lateness Xbox. At the moment, I have the only set so Tristan couldn't provide any pictures. He did ask me for some more pics, though I,ve been in Jerez watching it rain. I did get a full day Dry day on Jerez Wednesday with no issues to report for the new carbon shields.

Like a knob, I didn't bring my camera as I figured on another wet day. Here is a quick pic a mate took of our bikes which almost shows the carbon heat shield. I'll provide better picsq when I get the bike back in the UK.

I can say that fit and finish are top notch and match the carbon Termi "loop" heat shield. Full day on Jerez with 30 minuet sessions at race pace (for me) in 19c heat was not a problem for the shields.
