I calibrated the tire and I still get lag when quick shift between 1-2 gears. I feel like the ignition kill time between shifts is too long. Should I just try and reinstall the original map? Wanted to see if that would make any difference. Would that damage my bike if I run the stock map with arrow slip ons? Thanks!
What RPM are you shifting at?

Maybe you’re just shifting too early.lol JK I run my bike with stock map for 1 season and ducati told me it’s bad for the bike. The bike is smoother w the up map.

I think the 1-2 shift thing has more to do with the RPM its being shifted at and gearing than the QS. The gearing was changed with the '22 bike. The lower gears are taller and there's less of a difference between 1 and 2.

I read somewhere that the ECU uses different QS kill times depending on RPM, but I think you're better off only using it when high in the RPM range, especially for 1-2.

When I do regular street riding I shift at around 6-8K. Is that considered too early for v4? I installed the sprint air filter as well. I'll give it a shot to see if there's any improvements in shifting gears above 8k rpm if not I might just try and install the stock map back on to see if there's any difference. Thank you!

I shift at around 6-8K RPM when I do regular street riding. I've had instances where I would have smoother shifts with even lower RPM if I don't feel like being noisy. I'm not sure but I think I still had lag even at higher RPMs. I just know for a fact with the stock tune I've never had this issue. With that being said I'll go for a ride today and try to shift at above 8k RPMs a few times and see if there's any changes. Appreciate the info!

You can shift that low of course, but it won't be very smooth. I doubt the T800 has any significant effect on the DQS. I think Termi and a lot of other tuners base their tune off of the Ducati Akrapovic tune and tweak them to suit their systems, but I'm not aware of any tuner, even Woolich, who can adjust the DQS times.

So I would have to just get over it and find perfect RPM to have smooth shifts at this point then?😅

Or just accept that it's a little less smooth when going from 1-2. On the track, you won't really be shift from 1-2 all that often anyway.

Yeah I'm slowly accepting it. Yesterday I went for a ride and I noticed that this mostly happens at 6-7k RPM. If I shift below that or above that it shifts pretty smoothly. Thanks for helping out!

Just guessing, but might be to do with AIS or EVAP?

Honestly I have no idea. I also left the O2 sensors plugged in as t800 doesn't require to remove them but i'm not sure if this is what causing it.

Interesting. The T800 map I downloaded requires that the 02 sensors be unplugged.

I can't imagine that has anything do with the QS.

Yeah I don't know... Thinking of going back to stock map to see if it will go back to normal or I'd still have same issue. If the issue is fixed should I stay with the stock map or try and re upload thr arrow map again?

Wow good to know, I was wondering which solution to go with, thinking of BrenTuning but then figured I didn’t want to deal with getting a windows based computer to upload it and it’s only a slip on so thought the t800 would be good enough.... what other solutions are there? I guess BrenTuning it is

Dont do it! Bren is great for BMW. I have 3 that are perfect, the Ducati, not so much. I have been fighting a tune issue with them for months. Cant seem to get it dialed in. Lacks power in first, seems to starve for fuel, maybe air. Then at 7k-8k RPM it comes on like a freight train.

If flashing it to another map, even to settle your mind about trying that option helps, go for it.

Yeah i'll definitely try to re upload the stock map just to see how it does if anything I can just reinstall the t800 arrow map back. Also, do you know if having the Arrow slip ons and stock map is generally safe and won't hurt the bike? (I got the v4 2019) Appreciate all the info!
