How is everyone tethering their battery for maintenance? I found this way to the below triple tree works with with my cable and not as in the way.

Ahhh...my cable is a direct bolt to battery terminal, didn’t had to buy a cable to get into charging.

I was aware...but I’m so used to direct bolt on to the battery terminal. Ducati made the life easy for us on this one!! Kudos to them!

I did this exact thing, but with the indicator plug that flashes the state of the battery. This way I know when the bike has been sitting too long and needs to be plugged in.

I didnt want to pull the seat every time i wanted to connect to a battery tender.

I was also trying to make sure doesn’t dangle too, and not to obstruct steering movement as well!

Why not route the SAE cable up under the seat hump like this....that way you won't have to pull the seat each time, just unlock the seat hump. The only need to remove the seat is when the dealer needs to unplug the other end of this cable where it connects to the main loom and they need to plug in their diagnostics. Just make sure they reconnect it afterwards. This lead is for an Optimate charger for LiPo4 batteries but other types for different tenders are available. You will need to unbolt the rear compartment from the subframe, as well as ditch the pillion strap, to gain enough room in order to get the connector shown to pass through the hole. I used some cable wrap to prevent the wire from any possible chafing as well.

Just like how I’ve done so? Or any picture?
