Only the sound of my Panigale could put that smile on my face.

Today we finally had some decent weather on the Inner Banks of North Carolina. I just moved to the area and I've been trying to find some decent roads.

The roads were less than stellar, but the Panigale was.

In 35 years of riding I've never enjoyed a bike so much. Thank you Ducati!:)

Sorry I didn't snap any pics, but I was enjoying the sound of the v-twin growl to much to stop.

Jealous!
Still snow up here, North Carolina has the best roads in the world, Deals Gap~ Blue ridge and the Cherahola sky-way (spelt that wrong). One more month ill be headed that way to get that smile back.

PS: Gas down there is horrible, you may run into starting problems I believe the fix is to remove the charcoal canister.

Where are you located in NC?

And Colorado definately beats NC in terms of roads for riding.

I'm a good 6 hours from Deals Gap.

The roads in the area are fair at best as I'm along the coast. However there far better than Florida where I had lived for the last 8 years.

I grew up in the mountains of Virginia, and luckily I'm within 4 hours of there now. Those roads are some of the best roads in the country.

I live in the Sandhills, was trying to see who else is close by.

One big reason is I've noticed that all the backroads have mail boxes and trees everywhere (of course). Out west people don't live that close to the main roads and trees can be sparse. No ...., saw a kid on a ride fall and hit a mailbox down here. :/ Fortunately for him, it wasn't cemented in.

I'm in Washington, NC. I have yet to meet anyone other than a few squids. Granted the weather hasn't given me much chance to get out. Soon enough the weather will be good again.
