My friend died today while doing what he loved it was his life . He was a man that had cheated death on a few occasions but still persisted to try and find the limit today he found it .
The reality becomes very real when you see a friend who has died next to a wreck .
Be careful everyone and take care .RIP mate

Damn.

Majority of us don't think about the possibility of a serious injury or even death every time we throw a leg over a 2 wheeler but the risk is a reality. It's a great risk to begin with and we should all be more proactive on reducing those risks while riding on public roads. Doesn't mean ride in fear or don't ride at all but be very much aware of the risks at hand.

R.I.P. to those who have fallen on 2 wheels.

Thanks . I was reluctant to even mention it in a thread but it is a reality and a little extra care is all I'm asking .

sorry to hear bud, kinda makes you reassess what's truly important....which is good to do every now and then.

My condolences Wilks. A reminder of our own mortality is no bad thing when you are out on public roads. It heightens your sense of self preservation and the need to be vigilant for those times when you are at greater risk, not just from yourself but from careless others.

You right though died doing what he loved , we all roll the dice when pushing on that's why we are all in the same boat , no regrets , sorry for your loss of a Good mate , RIP .

Thanks all . Weird feeling your not going to converse with one of your mates again . Bit sureal actually .

Very sad indeed....but as you say this is the reality we live in.... I hope this doesn't dwell on your mind too much...but losing a friend in this way has to be an awful shock.... Take care....
