Rest in peace

He died living, most people live dying.

My condolences. It's a very sobering experience to lose someone close. You really get to know what "final" means when a death takes place.

May his family and friends use the celebration of his life to ease the pain and get through the healing process.

very sad :(
my condolences to you and his family. may he rest in peace.

Condolences.

Every time I consider riding on the roads something just keeps telling me I've risked it enough in the past. Just makes me look forward to the next track day even more.

My condolences Wilks, to you and his family. It does bring reality closer to home when something like this happens to a close family member or friend. It makes you really think about what you can do to minimize risks but still live the life you want. Sounds like he was doing what he enjoyed and sad to hear it end this way. RIP

My friend died today while doing what he loved it was his life . He was a man that had cheated death on a few occasions but still persisted to try and find the limit today he found it .
The reality becomes very real when you see a friend who has died next to a wreck .
Be careful everyone and take care .RIP mate

My condolences, my friend. Very sorry for your loss.

Crashes happen there too....:( but I know what u are saying....

Thanks all . Weird feeling your not going to converse with one of your mates again . Bit sureal actually .

Sucks and you never get used to it when its close to home.

We see more friends going out with cancer then wrecks, and I'd sure like to go out on two wheels before that.

You only go round once, not everyone truly lives.

Good reminder to always leave something in reserve on the street (I assume this was street, not track) and ride defensively because you never know what people are going to do

Wilkinson, it's very sad that your buddy is gone. You sound like a really nice guy and I am sure your friend enjoyed your rides together and the passion for biking you shared. He no doubt would want you to celebrate the adventurous exciting life he had and the special friendship you shared.
RIP

Thanks everyone . We tried to get him to the track but it just wasn't his thing and I understand the track is not for everyone .
I have crashed at the track on several occasions and was lucky enough for crashing there than on the street if there is such a thing with being lucky crashing .
Had I been on the street I would not be here .
Both places to ride are fun for different reasons I try to get the majority of my street riding to touring these days .

Sorry about your loss, it's a sad reality of the lifestyle we all love. Remember the good times, again sorry for your loss.
