Gunny, heads up I might be hitting up VIR. You should visit NCBIKE sometime... I was there Sunday.

Gunny, you should delete that post. Somethings are better left unwritten...

VIR was my home track for most of the 2000's. My driveway was 61 miles to the front gate. I miss it dearly.

Been asked to attend a few track days there by Glenn of TPM and they all say its really nice. So many unridden tracks and so little time ya know?
Been trying to gather a group for a wknd at VIR where I can arrange awesome facilities for the suites above tge garages too! Was thinking fall sometime and will post up info if I get enough folks to roger up. Glen even said he'd do a exclusive track day for just members or any group I could put together. Like to find out whod be interested in this and as stated I will post a feeler for it once I speak with him and narrow down a date. Sound cool?

Jeff D - don't know what ya mean regarding that hypothetical incident that I just had a nightmare about aftwr surfing my tricked out Tri and being injured!

I would if discounted. Will not pay over $200 for a track day.

Doesn't TPM offer it as the same price as NCBIKE? $165ish?

Dude, I got raped for $195 + $5 track fee, I wasn't happy. I was told it was around what you said. Not that it's too much, but I was misinformed. I also had to buy TWO SETS of knee sliders, I wore through one in four sessions. FML :p Did you see my run off? I has video...

It was lonely in blue group, not very many guys and no one was really passing anyone. I managed to pass maybe 3 or 4 and got passed by the same 2 guys only and that's that.

To answer you, I don't know.

please still do this. not sure how I came across this ...

Interesting how some people seem so high and mighty but are more than willing to commit insurance fraud. . . There is a reason why insurance costs the way it is and the more fraud there is, the more it screws over the rest of us. If you want track insurance, but track insurance. I'm not sure why there seems to be so much moral flexibility on the matter. If your always espousing about the high ground - then stay there. If you want to be a sleazeball - fine as well. Just don't come off as your have such and such morals and be insinuating/recommending/commiting insurance fraud. Geez. hypocrisy at its finest.

Foremost covers track days in the US. They are more expensive but it's honest and real coverage. These bikes are too expensive not to be properly ensured.
