I took her for a 100 mile spin yesterday and my gosh it was brutal if you were doing anything that resembled city driving. My buns were real toasty. Can' wait til it's 90f outside!
My 08 1098 ran hot, but my new 1299 runs real hot, but i trust it more. I was always waiting on the 1098 to shut down or kill over, but even at 220 I trust the fans and system better than on the old bike. But yeah, its hot.
It is my first Panigale so it seemed hot to me; I just have to adjust my body position slightly so I'm not sticking my leg directly on those super hot bolts.
I really don't notice it too much unless I'm in traffic and the bike starts getting in the 210+ range; once rolling without a bunch of starts and stops it is fine.
