The Panigale S models, be it xx99 or V4, have always been forged aluminum Marchesini, which prompted my question.

Get them now, things will be 5k in no time
Does Braketech even still make ceramic rotors? If Im not mistaken Jeff told me not at this time. But the Braketech website still shows them. And says prices not finalized yet.

Love the wheels, hate this post…now I gotta get those rotors hahaha
mine? I'm sorry. ;)

i do not understand that, maybe they just want to higher the pressure on potential buyers.
of the business!
but... wait...i remember mcD said in the Past "we don't sell this or that anymore"? :D

my interest in carbon was piqued by fastbikes comparison of the SP et al. they seemed to think it made it a better street bike... in fact the best sport bike on the street

No you can’t get the Braketech CMC rotors anymore but you can get the Sicom. I waited about 5 months for the Sicom front and rear and they have gone up considerably since I ordered them. I bought my Braketech CMCs about 2 years ago from a guy who never used them.

I'm not interested in Carbon wheels. Living in NY, Long Island. The roads here are horrendous! Just a quick reminder. Check your tire pressure regularly. You would be surprised at the drop. Helps to keep your rims in tact.

what brake pads are you going to run or are running with the Sicom?

oh, and where did you order them from?

The whole back end/drive setup is:
Sitta QC Carrier
Sitta 41 T Sprocket
CNC Titanium flange
Motocorse Ti nut
Febur Magnesium Hub
BDS Titanium Axle
Sicom rotor
Brembo P4 24 caliper
MC caliper bracket
DID EVR 7 chain (ordered a GP Titanium chain, may run it)
Sicom rotors I got from Belisimoto and SBU. Rest of the stuff from a bunch of different vendors and mfg direct

How much is that in teeth that you have to drill ‘n fill?

:D JK!

ordered em, thanks for that $5500 reduction in my bank account lol

seriously though, that’s about a 4 lbs reduction in rotational mass just on the front wheel, crazy

What brake pads do you use with the Sicom rotors, do you needs a special pad with the carbon ceramic disks?

Good man. Pads depends on calipers and what’s available. You have the stock calipers, just order the pads for that caliper from Belisimoto. I don’t know who makes the pads they sell for Sicom. They may be special pads for that material. I know on the Braketech rotors you can run just about anything. If you paid 5500 for the rotors that’s about 1k more than I paid 8 months ago. They are still going up.

I will have to check that out. I’d buy another set at that price. The do make more than one style I believe or did.

Yep. I’m considering a set. Have to put them in your cart to see the price.
