Tie Downs fit 2020 V4s?

Hi Guys,

i swear i was reading a thread recently referencing rear tie downs, but can't find it. search isn't helping much.

have any 2020 owners tried to install the Sato, Aellia or other rear tie down hooks?

I have Aella on mine

Be careful, the bolts supplied are very soft and easily stripped if your hex key is not fully engaged in the head

thanks. I emailed Bellisimoto and they advised that the same part works for 2018-20. I'm going to order the Satos.

i'll report back once they're installed

I like the Aella better than the R&G design. The Aella put a force on the bolts in line with the bolt. The R&G put a bending moment on the plate and bolts.

Yes they do look sweet. I like the all the Aella products.

do u guys think they’re good enough to tie the bike down or would we still want to tie the forks down too?

I really like the Pitbull restraint. Seems like the ultimate way

I am paranoid...

The bike is in a flip type front wheel chock, cycle cinch straps on the clip-ons and then ratchets on the Aella tie downs. I don't compress the suspension much. Straps are just there to keep it from tilting side to side in the chock and the rear wheel bouncing side to side. Probably way overkill, but an extra 10 minutes strapping it down is worth it for my piece of mind

If I can remember the next time I put it on a trailer I'll take a pic. Otherwise it is a 2020 V4S on a trailer like any other.

I have the Kendon dual trailer with a third chock in the center. So basically the same, but with Cycle Cinch for the front tie down instead of ratchet straps

Pitbull system is great, no tie downs needed and only takes 2 minutes to get the bike secured on the trailer

I thought about this before, But 5 bikes of different sizes(lengths) makes it a no go for me.

I have been using this setup for a while now in my truck Baxley Chalk, PSR bar clamps and Sato hooks. The chalk holds the front wheel so I just snug the front and use the hooks in the back.

That's less than half price of new. I'd ask for a reason they are listing them as New Other... could be a smoking deal

Believe they may have been display model. I bought the Aella block offs from them and they're legit.
