So my left side top radiator hose popped off the knuckle a few days ago. Caught it in time. Thought it was just a random loose fitting so we tightened it, bled it, and refilled and it's fine now. Didn't think much of it.

Right now as I type this, a buddy of mine in California is on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck as his left side bottom rad hose popped off the knuckle. Completely stock v4s.

It's not a huge deal but if you don't notice it in a corner and it gets on your tire, it could quickly escalate into a huge deal.

So just a PSA for all v4 owners to re tighten all the knuckle screw clamps. Better be safe than sorry.

Man you're not off to the best start hey, first bike catches on fire and now this. I would gladly take all those problems on if i could afford the new V4:D

I think my second bike has been pretty good. A couple of DQS errors which disappeared after a reset, and a loose hose clamp which was easily resolved. .... happens but if by posting them, one person sees it and finds their rad hose a little loose, tightens it and potentially saves them from an accident, I'll post them all day.

When I received my 1299s (brand new), after few days/weeks I found coolant drops on the floor.
Eventually found 2 rad hoses that needed to be tightened. (inner low and top hoses) and after a 24H pressure test at the dealer everything is ok.

Friends with SS and Diavel also had the same issue as mine, I guess we all got an Italian "Monday build"
