Titanium headers available for Termignoni 1199 Titanium race silencers-traditional rear-exit?

2 Cents; Ive read a lot of threads on the heat issue and people report improvements by doing various things but all of it is small and probably subject to confirmation bias. If you are making HP you are making heat as you are basically riding an engine. As mentioned wear leathers, its what I do and it never bothers me. If I wear street clothes I notice.

Thank u— I realize the heat reduction would be minimal by going Ti. Looks like that’s a no-go for me anyway with my Termi D129 race silencers. The other obvious reason I want race headers is simply to complete my exhaust system, making it an actual 70mm full-race system. I’m already running a full-race map.

@greggiacona I have both. Currently have the SS WSBK headers on rear exit Termignoni silencers and just found the Titanium headers for this. Happy to let you know how it works out and will be selling the full other full system if anyone is interested.

Actually, I would just like an answer to my original question without all the editorializing:

Are there any titanium race headers available for the traditional Termignoni Panigale 1199 rear- exit titanium silencers?

I researched the same thing for my 2013 1199R. The only headers that will fit the rear exit Termignoni titanium silencers are the 70mm D130 S/S headers (Ducati code 96480151A). The Termignoni Titanium headers others have mentioned will not fit the rear exit silencers, they're for the newer front exit carbon silencers & the Akrapovic headers will only fit the Akrapovic silencers. I suppose you could source someone to engineer a connection between either the Akra or Termi titanium headers as both headers can be purchased seperately.
Good Luck.

There are a number of Termignoni exhaust out there with titanium pipes. Here's one for sale right now....

For the original O.P there are no Titanium headers/pipes that fit those rear exit titanium silencers (titanium sleeve only). You're making the assumption that these are titanium pipes/headers, they aren't. They are stanless steel S/S pipes/headers. The system was called a titanium system by Termignoni but the pipes aren't titanium!

I've personally had both versions. I agree it's confusing as the cans on both say Titanium and have a titanium "shell"
I'm referring to the pipes themselves where the titanium ones look like a rainbow 🌈 when you bring them to heat. Don't think that occurs with stainless...? There are a few out there and they look gold versus the stainless that are silver.

So you're telling me you've had Termignoni titanium headers that fit the 1199 titanium rear exit silencers (Ducati code 96450311B)? Because that is the original O.P's question. I've spent countless hours sourcing the same thing as the O.P and couldn't find a Termignoni titanium header existing to replace (Ducati code 96480151A). The ebay listing link you supplied are stainless steel headers (they are a splitting image of my S/S headers even down to the dark oxidisation area's that tells me they're S/S. I've never seen titanium do that). They are the same as my Termignoni (supposedly) titanium system that came on my 2013 1199R (it's a play on words by Termignoni, as the only titanium part is the sleeve of the silencer). If you can provide me with a link for Termignoni titanium headers that fit I would be greatly appreciative because I came up empty handed and until someone can provide a code for a Termignoni header that fits those cans I don't believe it, so the challenge has been thrown out there. The photo's show my S/S headers before & after soda blasting and my Akra titanium which is a completely different oxidising colour that titanium is known for.

Here's an old pic, couldn't find a better one. Turned bright purple, pink, blue, and green when at temp....this pic is cold.

As I said previously, those titanium headers do not fit the titanium silencers the O.P posted about & that I'm talking about (96450311B). They only fit the newer Termignoni carbon front exit silencers. Look at the exit point of the ones you are referring to (exit point virtually 180° to the midpipe, where as the S/S D130's (96480151A) exit around 45°). I have spoken to a dealer in Italy who sells the full Termignoni range and they confirmed those do not fit the titanium silencers, & they do not have a titanium product that does.

Sorry but I can't tell if it's titanium from that pic. Do u have a Ducati or Termignoni product code?

I just noticed you said your pic is cold or did you mean old? Because they will not lose the titanium oxidised colour because the exhaust is cold. Once the titanium changes colour due to heat/oxidisation it will hold that colour even when it's cooled down but will progressively change colour over time as heating reoccurs. The picture of my Akrapovic titanium is cold. 🙄

@1199Superquadro Unfortunately I am not going to be able to find any documents to discount your research here, I can only share from personal experience here.
I've had three exhausts on my Panigale. I had the Akrapovic first, then the Termignoni with the stainless-steel headers, and then another full set that had titanium headers. There was a big difference between the two as stainless steel was heavier, seemed to run hotter, and always had a silverish color to it. The titanium one was a mix of gold, purple, blue, and green around the welds and brackets. I had purchased then used so no idea what it originally come off of. Sorry for adding to the confusion but sharing my experience....

Not true, titanium retains less heat than steel. Not to mention weight savings but that’s not important to me.

Just a word of experience- I had a 1199s and I put a full Ti system on it - there was zero noticeable difference as far as heat goes vs stock system. Actually the Akrapovic heat shield under the seat gets rid of the part that helps keep heat off your right foot, if I rode it without boots it felt like a blow torch on my right foot even just going a short distance around town.
