My oil is above the full mark.
Was done at delear. I looked at my rsv4 and the same with that both done at delear , is this bad or nah? Obviously iv made sure bike is hot and long ride then waited to cool off then checked .

The full mark is where I would want it to be.

Smidge over, not the end of the world, but if we're talking full glass, then syphon some out with a squirty bottle pipe.

How much above the full mark is it when checking dead cold?

It doesn't take very much extra oil in the crankcase to be showing way over full.

The other alternative is to leave it as it is, to eventually burn off and come down of it's own accord over time.

when the bike is cold its just at the full mark or just over a tad, when its hot then cooled down a bit its roughly at the full or just over as well?

Leave it.

There's nothing to be concerned with at all.
You're probably looking at 30-50 ml of oil(tops) in volume of tolerance.
Actually you ought to think yourself lucky, as it's often been reported that the bikes are way over full, to the tune of about 200 ml or more with the oil level at somewhere over the top of the sight glass after a service.
You dealer has done a good job and paid attention to detail;)

In summary, the oil quantity stated by DUCATI is too much at 3.7 litres.
The amount they actually take is closer to 3.5 litres.
Go and ride the tits off it and enjoy:)

As I wrote before, they did mine 850ml over and non synthetic oil!
