Torque Tightening Manual 1199

it is pretty sorry that ducati hasn't issued a free download of torque specs for all their bikes like you can do for parts and owners manuals.

And the fact that they haven't issued an 1199 manual is pretty inexcusable.
 
Anyone who bought CNC rear or front axle nuts will be happy to learn they use the same torque as the stock ones. However, since we don't have that yet published as public knowledge you still may be in the dark. Sorry.
 
I spoke with the owner of my dealer about this a couple of weeks ago. Even he is seriously pissed that Ducati will not allow owners access to service manual.
 
Sorry for the side-tracking;

but is there any consensus on axle nut sockets,,
billet vs. steel?
 
It is pretty ridiculous the service manual isn't out yet.
As a last resort, I'd recommend referring to the 1098 service manuals (readily available).
Most of the hardware will be the same size, and pretty safe assumption that the same size hardware will have the same torque settings.
 
Yep, I've been using the SF manual for the torque specs.

Found this somewhere on " the net ", and saved it. Not sure of it's validity...
