So last night i attended a track day seminar for absolute cycles track days. i was skeptical about it because the website is not user friendly. After talking with them for over an hour i was VERY impressed on how it is run. I also hear v good things about promotion.

i joined absolute and may join promotion too.

anybody a member of either? a member of both? etc

I dont have my track day calender in front of me but I'm pretty sure I am going to be doing a day with them. I am doing most with TPM now that NESBA is gone. I know I am doing a STT/MotoExcite day on the 24th. Glad you like the classroom setting of Absolute, now have to see how they execute it.

OHHHHH okay gotcha

It is Absolute I am riding with on the 24th at Summit Main

As some of you know I'm a coach for Team Promotion. That being said, I have ridden with Absolute in my pre coach days, and also have friends who coach for them. They are a good group of guys. Do I think we are better? Of course! besides having more dates and at more tracks, we put out emphasis on teaching and coaching. I was attrcted to TPM because of their coaching staff and wanted to be amongst them. There are a lot of riders that ride with us and Absolute, considering we share NJMP as our more or less home track. If you or anyone want to try a trackday with us before commiting to buying a membership, drop me an email and I'll hook you up with a first time deal equal to full member pricing, and might even be able to get you a deal on leather rentals or loaners.BTW, we still have a few spots open at VIR at the end of the month.:D

Feel free to email me at [email protected] for any info about doing a day or two with TPM

Brett,
will you be at Barber April 5/6?

No Barber this year. Besides the coaching and school duties, we are going to do the NJMP, Summit, VIR and Daytona rounds of ASRA Team Challenge Endurance races on my Pani, so VIR is going to be the furthest I travel this year with TPM. I have done joint days with STT before, great bunch! hope to hit Barber and Nola next year.

Ljuice, if you havent signed up for barber yet, give me an email and I'll tell you how to go about getting my tpm first time discount

Thanks a bunch. I'm already registered in advanced. I rode with TPM back in the day (2004/05) and took the race school at Poconos raceway and got my race license. This will be the first time I have been to Barber since 04. should be fun. Looking forward to meeting everything.

I moved out to LA 2 years ago but back when I was living in CT I rode almost exclusively with Team Promotion. Great organization and ran extremely well.

Cannot lie tho, I also rode with Absolute and was not disappointed at all.

Both crew run a nice tight TIMLEY event. can't go wrong either way!

I just want a smooth day (run well). I dont care about coaching a whole lot, as I rather just have a fun safe session. NESBA got a little out of hand with the coaching, I actually think it really hurt them. By all means if I'm about to kill myself, stop me and tell me, but if i'm not hitting every Apex every lap ... I will see it on the gopro, dont need the 5min talk (nesba again). I did the NCbike day with TPM, the people seemed more chill. I really enjoyed myself and the people. I will say NESBA is faster (I'm not the first to say this) , but thats prob due to a ton of racers rode with them.

I am getting the Absolute membership because they are running the NESBA members deal.

Mark what you talking about Summit is far? It takes me 4hrs to get to NYC. I went to college at Hofstra and drove to MD all the time to see my wife. NCbike,VIR, NJMP, Beaver run all 4ish hours man. You got a track bike now bruh , time to knuckle up haha

TPM is offering a deal to nesba members too, crediting them for what they paid toward a tpm membership

I just purchased my FT membership through TPM before they announced that. I could tell the direction NESBA was headed, wish I waited a few more days though. Sent a email and some basically told, sorry for ya luck lol. Life goes on

Hey Mark. Hook up with Mr. KO and see what you can do to make it down for a day at Summit bro. It used to be one of my main tracks and I think you'll really like it and sounds like both of those organizations uses summit. You def want to be sure its "Summit Main" and not the Shennandoah track which is no where as good as main.

Its about an hour drive from me so id be more than happy to drive up there to see yoos guys. And you know you can always stay with us and eat like a king! All this track talk between you guys, L JUice and Phil sending me texts all day about how much he loves my old Racebike are really making me think about regretting my sale decisions. Oh well. I turn 48 tomorrow so its about time I let things go.
